EMPLOYMENT CHECKS / VERIFICATION IN RUSSIA AND UKRAINE

Official Employment Information

Official Employment Information is a service of obtaining official information about the person's place of employment. They are obtained through whatever sources are available to the investigators, but mostly through governmental records.

There is no single reliable database that they can access to research someone's employment information, so the investigators in different areas of the country may differ on their strategies for obtaining this information.

There are three major issues that you need to be aware when ordering the official employment information research:

1) Official sources often have no information at all about a particular person's employment.

It does not mean that this person is not employed - it means only that there are no OFFICIAL records of his or her employment yet.

2) Official information about someone's' employment can be fabricated (for a variety of purposes) and may not reflect the actual type of work or places of employment.

3) The official information is usually 6-12 months old.

Please note that although it is fairly easy to research this information (if the sources are available), obtaining any kind of official records (paperwork) from the government or the employer is not that easy. If you need the actual official records (as evidence that could be used for legal proceedings, for example), you will need to discuss it with us ahead of time, and the cost of the service would have to be adjusted to reflect additional requirements.

What information is necessary to run the Official Employment Information?

The results of the 3-Point check

OR

a copy of the current valid Russian/Ukrainian internal passport

OR

exact information about the place of employment, the position occupied, and the name of the person in question

How long does it take?

Usually it takes about 6-14 business days to get the results.

How safe is Official Employment check? Can the person find out that they are been checked?

It is a pretty safe check, and we never had any instances when a person would find out that his or her official employment information was checked.

ACTUAL PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT RESEARCH

Because in some cases the information obtained from official sources can be misleading, the only way to confirm the official information is by unofficial research, which would employ a variety of techniques that require much more "legwork" from the investigator. The result will be a much more reliable information about the current employment situation, but a more involved and expensive investigation, as well.

The research will start with checking the official records first, and then following up with "on the ground" research that would confirm the official information, or produce new information about the actual employment situation of the person in question.

How long does it take?

Usually it takes about 6-14 business days to get the results.

How safe is Actual Employment check? Can the person find out that they are been checked?

We never had any instances when a person would find out that his or her official employment information was checked, but potentially it is a more risky check because the investigators' research can bring them in contact with the employers and acquaintances of the subject, which is always a risky situation.
