How to order

Service description:
We will contact a flower delivery company for you and ask them to deliver a
bouquet to a specific address. The florist will usually want to contact the
addressee ahead of time, to set up the date and time for the delivery, and to
confirm the delivery address. So, it would be good if you could provide the
addressee's phone number or email address for that purpose.
After the addressee replies and suggests a good date and time for the
delivery, the florist will prepare the bouquet. Usually the bouquet is prepared
the day before or on the day of the delivery.
On the agreed date and time, the florist will arrive at the specified address
with flowers and a camera. If the addressee is at home, the florist will ask a
permission to make a photo of the recipient with her bouquet. If she agrees, the
florist will snap a photo or two. If she declines, then unfortunately the
florist won't be able to make a photo.
The confirmation of the successful (or unsuccessful) delivery will usually
arrive within 24 hours. If any photos were taken during the delivery, the photos
may take a couple of additional days to arrive.
Costs:
STANDARD DELIVERY
SERVICE FEE: $35.00 (only
in specified locations).
- The standard delivery fee (SDF) is applicable only to deliveries to cities
listed here
- Deliveries to smaller cities, towns and villages will cost more. The exact
cost will depend on the geographical location of recipient. The farther the
recipient is from any of the cities on our list, the higher the cost of the
delivery. To find out the exact delivery fee to a particular location, contact
us prior to the delivery
- The standard delivery fee (SDF) includes a maximum of two delivery attempts.
If the recipient is not present / available during both delivery attempts,
the bouquet will be considered to be abandoned (unless otherwise specified
by the client)
PHOTO SERVICE:
$15.00
- the delivery personnel will make a photo of the recipient with the flowers
- usually the florist will take 1 or 2 photos
- the photos will be emailed to the sender within 2-3 business days after the
delivery
- the recipient has a right to refuse to have a picture taken
FLOWERS: $8
per rose.
The price includes the package, the filler greens, and the
decorations.
- The bouquets are packaged individually by the florists, so the amount of
decorations, greens, and the type/color of packaging will depend on the
local florist's taste.
Recommendations
If you have never met your penpal face-to-face, we would recommend sending arrangements with 1, 3, or 5
roses***. This way, if the delivery address proves to be false or the recipient is
not willing to meet with the flower delivery agent, your financial investment in
the delivery will be minimal.
For large bouquets, we would recommend 7, 11 or 21 stems.
***We do not recommend sending an even number of
flowers because Russians have a superstition that an even number of flowers
brings bad luck to the recipient.

Standard Delivery Fee
The $35 Standard Delivery Fee applies only to the cities
listed here.
If you need to deliver a bouquet to a different location, the delivery
fee is likely to be higher. Please
contact us to inquire about the cost of the delivery before placing
your order.
- Delivery to very small, rural villages or towns may not be possible
at all due to the remote location.
- If you place your order without confirming the delivery fees with us
ahead of time, we will ask you to make a payment for the additional
delivery fee charges before delivering your bouquet.
Photo Service
If the recipient refuses to allow the florist to make a photo, the sender can
request a refund of the $15 Photo Service fee. The florist cannot make a photo
of the recipient against the recipient's objections.
The Photo Service is intended to make photos of the recipient. However,
in the event than the recipient is not available during the delivery
attempt, the Photo Service can be used to make pictures recipient's apartment door
in order to to demonstrate that the delivery was, in fact,
attempted.
Delivering notes and letters
Each bouquet comes with a free card that allows for a short message
(3-5 lines of text).
We are often asked to deliver a letter with the bouquet. That is possible,
and no additional payment is necessary as long as the letter is under 1 page in
length. Letters longer than 1 page in length will have to be delivered at an
additional cost. Contact us
prior to ordering your bouquet to discuss additional arrangements.
The recipient is also allowed a forward a note to the sender if (s)he
wishes to do so. The florist will scan the note and email it to the sender along
with the photos.
Contacting the recipient prior to the delivery
The florists will attempt to contact the recipient by email / phone
prior to the delivery to confirm the preferred location, date, and time of
the delivery with the recipient. You can request a "surprise
delivery" (in which case the florist will not try to
contact the addressee prior to the delivery), but such order will be
non-refundable.
- If the delivery address will
turn out to be incorrect, or if the addressee will not be at home at the time of
the delivery, or if the addressee refuses to accept the flowers, then the
florist will just leave the flowers at the address specified in the
order or return the flowers to the flower shop to be re-used or
discarded.
Refunds and cancellations
You can cancel the delivery for a 100% refund no later than 36 hours
prior to the scheduled delivery date.
- All late cancellations will incur a $15 processing fee.
- To avoid unnecessary order cancellation,
it is advisable that you inform the recipient about your plan to send the
flowers and inquire about her preferred delivery location, date, and time
BEFORE you
order the service
Once the bouquet is prepared, the payment for the bouquet becomes
non-refundable.
Once the florist attempts a delivery, whether the delivery is successful or
not, the payment for the delivery fee becomes non-refundable.
If at the time of the delivery the addressee is not at home, the florist will
leave a business card on the apartment door, or with the other residents of the
apartment. The card will have the contact information of the flower shop and a
message to contact the florist ASAP. If the addressee fails to contact the
flower shop, the florist can attempt to make a second delivery to the same
address. If the recipient is not at home again, the florist will leave a
second business card. If the recipient fails to contact the flower shop,
the florist will consider the bouquet abandoned.
- the sender agrees that the flowers can lose their freshness within
2-3 days after the first delivery attempt; the florist is not
financially responsible for the replacement of the flowers.
