CHANGES IN RUSSIAN DETECTIVE

OVERVIEW

Dear customers,

For nearly 4 years, Russian Detective was run exclusively by E. Garrett Group owner, Elena Garrett. 

During that time, Elena Garrett has became an internationally recognized authority on Russian dating scams and earned Russian Detective a reputation of a reliable agency with honest business practices.

However, Elena can no longer devote 100% of her time to Russian Detective. In the fall of 2006 Elena is starting her college, and her studies will affect her work schedule. Therefore, starting July 2006, Elena will only work in the agency part time. Her detailed work schedule will be posted at a later date.

Considering the agency's high daily work load, Elena has hired Russian Detective's first employee, a Russian lady by the name Yulia. Yulia is Elena's assistant manager at RD. 

With time, Yulia will handle most of the investigations. Right now she works primarily with scam evaluations, basic checks, address checks, and other easy assignments. 

With any questions or concerns about Yulia's reports, please contact Elena Garrett.

Elena Garrett will handle more complicated investigations, such as surveillance operations, scam investigations, prosecution cases, etc. She will also supervise Yulia's work on as-needed-basis.

Here is the breakdown of the services and assignments handled by Elena and Yulia:

Yulia speaks Russian, German and English. Elena speaks Russian and English only.

Due to Elena's part-time working schedule, schedules for many investigations may be affected.

Was Russian Detective sold?

No. Elena has no plans for selling RD. 

Does Russian Detective or Elena Garrett have any relations to Elena's Models?

No. Elena's Models is run by Elena Petrova. Russian Detective is run by Elena Garrett. The two have no affiliation or business relationship.

Whom can I speak with if I dial the number listed on this web site (469-371-4961)? Elena or Yulia?

The phone number listed on our Contact Us page is Elena's cell phone number. Therefore, you will speak with Elena Garrett. No one else but her answers that phone. If it goes to a voice mail box, please leave a message

NOTE: please request all scam evaluations by email. Also, if you want to report a scammer, please visit the appropriate page. We do not take scammer reports by phone. Phone calls requesting scam valuations or reporting scammers are not going to be returned.

The email office@russian-detective.com - is it Elena's or Yulia's email?

It is the agency's main mail box. Both Elena and Yulia have access to it.  

Can I speak to Yulia by phone? 

Not at this time. However, Yulia is available to answer all your questions by email 5 days a week.

Where is the agency located? Are you a registered business? Can you provide me with any references? 

E. Garrett Group is located in Dallas area, TX (USA). It was registered as a business in Dallas county, TX in 2002.

Will the agency's performance change after Elena starts her college?

Most likely, in the first few months the agency's performance will drop slightly due to all the adjustments to the new schedule and new work arrangements. Elena will personally work with anyone who has any problems with his investigation to make sure that all investigations are completed according to the her usual standards.

The biggest expected performance drop is going to be in regards to schedules. We expect some delays because Yulia is still new and needs supervision with some of the cases. Also, she is still learning how to write reports for some of the investigations. So, please excuse our usually slow performance for the next several weeks.

If Elena studying to be a private detective? (we get this question alot -E.G.)

No.

What school is Elena attending and what is her major? (we get this question alot, too -E.G.)

Elena is going to go to school in Dallas area and her majors are criminal justice and psychology.

How can Elena be best reached?

By email (office@russian-detective.com). If the message is specifically for Elena, specify that in your email subject. However, please expect 6-24 hour delay before you hear back from her.
