Her ad listed her as being from Carlisle, Ma., under "Hello the new friend." I responded to her ad and found that she was actually in Russia. She fell "in love" with me in three weeks. I was suspitious of her and asked if she wanted to meet me in Russia. She said no because she "did not know me well enough." She wanted to meet me here in the U.S.A. (she will not meet in Russia, but will come to a foriegn country and meet a man she hardly knows?). She insisted that scammers should be put in prison, and that she did not want my money. It did not take long for her to change that. She insisted in coming here in Oct. 2005. She said that she got a visa through a travel agency for$700.00. I contacted the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. They have no record of this, and advised me to beware of a scam. She then asked me to send her $1050 through Western Union to help pay for her ticket. I believed her to be scamming me early on, and never sent any money. I never once agreed to send her any money. I also found her photos on several dating agencies, listing her as being 22 years old, and from Moscow. She told me that she was26. I also found out through another web site that she was sending the same letters to at least two other people.      support this black list return to black list of individual scammers
