Scammer Shustova Natalia from Kazan

This time it's a bit different in that our friend Natalia isn't using just e-mails to try and scam people, but also internet chatrooms on dating sights. I found her earlier today on Amoureux.com a French based dating site that's free to join and use. I have to admit I was somewhat surprised she answered my request to chat, as she ignored me yesterday. I guess I began to be a bit suspicious when I read her profile, or rather noticed the lack of detail - something I've come to notice that a lot of scammers do, I suppose it leaves fewer 'facts' to get wrong! I attach the whole of our conversation, (with slight editing to protect my identity) and a collection of photographs she sent me. I notice that she's now using a new e-mail address: troya.milash@rambler.ru
However, She's still claiming to be in Kazan, and using an internet cafe located in the same building as where she lives. She claims to be a low-paid bookeeper in a school, earning 500 USD a month, and I did think it was odd that she should start talking salaries with a complete stranger! She later started talking about being short of money for the new year, and needing 200 USD to cover the costs of buying presents etc. Smelling a rat, I quickly explained that I am on a low income too, (and it's true) getting something akin to some sympathy into the bargain! However, soon after this, our Natalia seemed to lose interest, claiming to be sleepy. One last, curious thing, Natalia's English seems to come and go, sometimes her spelling, grammar and syntax are just about perfect, but at others, her meaning is obscure to say the least.

I shall make a report to Amoureux, as they do take frauds of this kind seriously, and frequently delete my messages before I can get to them if they suspect that there's a scammer behind it. This is fantastic service when you consider that this dating site is completely free to use.

The only advice I can give to people, is use your built in crap detector, if someone appears too good to be true, then they almost certainly are.
