Hi, I'm Mike. Received an un-solicited email from "Katya"
saying she had completed the visa paperwork and had planned to travel to
the US with a girlfriend, but she backed out. So now she can't go unless
she knows an American who will vouch for her, found my email address on
the Internet, (wouldn't say where) and can leave soon if I am interested
in meeting. That is the basic intro. letter, then the problem arises, she
is told by customs that she can't go unless she has at least $1500 in her
possession, please, and of course she doesn't have it. I told her I didn't
either, but could maybe even buy her ticket to free up her cash for this.
(I was playing along, but more than suspicious). She didn't even mention
my offer in her last letter, just that her friend offered to loan half, so
she only needed $650 from me instead. After that I sent her a letter
telling her no and shame on her. She got nothing from me, and I hope to
stop her from finding someone less wary. In the second letter she gave her
web page address that contained her pics.. I will attach them in case she
closed it though. Also, she used several email addresses, and sent copies

cannot fly to the country where I know nobody and consequently I have
decided to write to you the letter. Possible It will be sounds silly
but if you are interested a meeting with the nice woman, I shall like
