Hello,

My name is Ben. I met Svetlana Khikurava on an online dating site called AmericanSingles.com Her profile name was annloko, age 26, from Andronovo, RS35, Russia. And her headline read: "WAITING FOR THE MIRACLE TO COME"

I was looking at a couple profiles and she instant messaged me through the site. So she made first contact with me.

Several small discrepencies about her caught my attention.

1. In her instant message she said she had blue eyes but the woman in her photos has brown eyes!

2. Her profile said she was 26 but her instant message said she was 25!

3. In her instant message she asked me to write to her at samka7rus@yahoo.com Then in her first email she asked me to respond to a different address.

4. She seemed to have her travel plans in motion before she met me.
Another-words she was already planning to leave for Moskow in about a week or two and make arrangements to travel to the US. While doing this, she was looking online to meet a man who could meet her in the US! That seemed strange to me!

5. In her second email to me she gave me her address in Tobol'sk and said "it is near big industrial city Vladivostok." I looked on map quest and it showed that Tobol'sk was in the middle of Russia and Vladivostok is on the Eastern Coast! Maybe there's another Tobol'sk there but Mapquest didn't show it.

6. In her second email to me she stated she worked as a fitness trainer for two years in Vladivostok, then in her fourth email, she said she worked with a friend as a trainer in Irkutsk! When I asked her if she had worked with her friend Elena in Vladivostok or Irkutsk I didn't get an answer.

7. She sent me a scanned image of her passport but it was obvious to me it was fake. I've used photoshop myself and I could see the blur where she tried to doctor it and sharp lines in other places where she pasted info on top of the original photo.

She asked for money when she was in Moskow because she needs to purchase a return ticket to show the embassy that she is not planning on staying in the US illegally. She would have had enough money but she was so excited about meeting me that she flew from "small town of Tobol'sk" to Moskow instead of taking the nine day train ride. She didn't realize the flight would cost that much (about $600). She said she has $450 but needs $700 from me for her travel needs and living there until her flight.

She just aked for the money this morning. Of course I'm not going to send her any, but I don't know what her reaction will be yet when she doesn't receive any. I'm going to string her along a while and try to slow down her work.

I googled a sentence from her second email to me which linked me to Zapirova Maria. All her letters matched the ones I received from Svetlana Khikurava. The sentence was "I want to leave Russia, I know it sounds ugly but I know that I will be lost here like many young girls before me."
