Dear Sir or Madam:
Recently I have become a victim of a scammer, between August and November Tanya Shirshova, born August 24th 1979 who also used another name Tamara Zinkova, to deceive me and defraud of $4.000.00 US Dollars. We met through a dating site (Amoureux.com) which she then lure me to her e-mail address

At first I was very cautious with her but as time went by she convinced me that she was an honest person that would never deceive me. After building a solid relationship with me and telling me how bad the economy was in Russia; the next step was to ask for my help with getting her a visa and passport. So I decided to help, $280.00US Dollars was sent to her by Western Union, next was the flight.
She told me the flight would cost $1,800 which I said was very expensive, but she was very persuasive and told me it included the Customs Declaration which would be returned to me when she arrives. So again by Western Union I sent her $1.800 US Dollars.
Thinking that all will be well now and soon she will arrive, to my surprise she then told me that she would have to go to the Embassy for questioning. In order for her to leave Russia it is necessary to take and pass questioning, in order to do this she would have to spend just over a week in an hotel, the cost of the hotel was $600.
This time I started to get worried, so I said use some of the $1,800 to pay for hotel because there is no guarantee that you will pass questioning. Still keeping in contact after the questioning had finished, she was delighted to tell me that she had passed. Now all that was needed was enough money to make up the customs Declaration.
Again I sent her money, this time $1,200 US dollars, to cover the cost of the hotel and the travel expense from Kazan to Moscow, and to make up the money needed for the Customs Declaration.
Thinking that all was well now I decided to buy the plane ticket, within days I received another letter saying that she had been robbed on a tram and almost all the money had been stolen, this had put me in a terrible situation because I had already bought the plane ticket.
She pleaded and begged me not to cancel the plane ticket and said she would pay me back all the money and compensate me for my loss.
As you can imagine I was furious, and I told her that if I found out that she was lying I would report her to the Police and the necessary authorities.
She gave me her word that she would never deceive me and that I should trust her as she trusts me. In order to convince me she claimed Tamara Zinkova was a Russian Agent working for the Russian Embassy, and that person could safely deliver my money to the Embassy, that way should anything happen to the money, it would be guaranteed against all accidents.
Feeling reassured once again money was sent by; Western Union, $700 US Dollars, to make up the money that was stolen. After the last money was sent I received one more letter from her saying that she received the money and for me to wait at the airport for her arrival.
You can guess the rest she didn’t turn up and she cut off her mailbox.
This is the name and address she gave me to send the money.

I have all the e-mails that she has sent me along with photos and Western Union money transfer receipts.
In profiling Tanya Shirshova (which I’m sure is not her real name) I would say she is a professional and very ruthless, using lies and emotions to deceive and defraud innocent people of their money.
I hope her activities are put to an end and she is prosecuted, it will stop innocent vulnerable people around the world being deprived of their money, and making their lives a misery leaving them financially hurt and emotionally depressed.
This was an elaborate deception to deprive me of my money, such crimes on the Internet are an abuse of the system and it is against International Laws.
I want to report (aka) Tanya Shirshova to the Moscow Police so that they can investigate her criminal conduct on the Internet and the dishonest way she defrauded me of my savings.
I have already recorded a complaint about her activities to The Internet Fraud Complaint Centre, (IFCC) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Please can you reply at some stage with an update of the situation, many thanks.
