SPECIAL WARNINGS:

Are you corresponding with a girl from a tiny rural town in Russia? Is she in love with you and wants a personal meeting?

Efremova Oxana (Oksana)

St. Petersburg, Russia

Tel. - (812) 593349X

Address: ul. Molodtcova, 5-204 Sertolovo St. Petersburg

e-mail: eefrox@hotmail.com

DOB: 21.08.1975

I am white Britsh citizen, divorced with 3 children, 50 and self-employed.

I met Oxana in a disco Marstall, St. Petersburg in 2001 and I fell in love
with her. I would phone her every day and send her emails every day. There
were a few things that made me suspicious but I thought I was being paranoid.
She would ask me to buy a mobile phone etc. She then claimed that her bag was
stolen so I should buy here a new phone and a bag etc which I did. Also I
sent an invitation which she said arrived too late to come (2 -3 months?).
But I had sent her the money for the flight ($500) which I never received
back. I would send the money via Western Union. However I visited her many
times and would give her cash too. Once when I was with her my passport with
6000 rubles in it was mysteriously stolen from my jacket (no idea how).
During our relationship we had no physical contact as she said she wanted to
wait till we married. To cut a long story short she talked about marrying and
wanted a ring. I got rings and then did all the paperwork to get married.
This was a very complicated and costly process involving me taking 2 trips to
Moscow etc. She lives in St. Petersburg. During the time of planning the
wedding she started to ask me for big things. A fur coat ($600), boots
($300), a bag/gloves etc ($300). As we were getting married I had no problem.
We even had a date given us from the Russian registry office in St.
Petersburg (21.12.2002 18:45). Anyway after I went back the last time last
week she told me on the phone that she does not want to marry me. She said
the ring "is lost" so I cannot have it back. Asking her about why she made me
buy her lots of things she said that I should know what I am doing as I am
not a teenager. She has turned unfriendly and I realise that she has tricked
me. She went that far as she knew I would not give her lots of money if she
was not "serious". I am shocked and deeply upset. Obviously there is nothing
I can do. I suspect that she has done this before. She mentioned that she had
some email contacts who were sending her money which I just ignored but
thought it was bad.
She was very clever and convincing. Please put her on record to prevent this
happening to someone else.
