Scammers Alekseeva Natalia / Sokolova Evgeniya from Kamenka (actual location is Yoshkar-Ola), Russia

First, I want to thank you because I caught this person due to info you have posted on another women from last summer. Her name was Olesya Aktanaeva. Parts of my scammer's letters were identical, bad grammar and all. Thanks again. I was really starting to fall for the lady.

STORY:
I recieved an unsolicited email from the dating website true.com or truebeginnings.com. on Dec.10, 2005. The woman's screen name was lapochka1970 and her profile said she lived in New York City. She asked me to reply to her, if I was interested in a serious relationship, at Zhenyasokolova@yandex.ru. At this point I did not know that this was a russian internet provider. I replied and recieved the first of 11 emails, pretty much every day. Initially, she stated her name as Evgeniya Sokolova, but after several emails, she said that she now trusts me and gave me her "real" name and address:

We exchanged some info on each other, backgrounds, family, a little minor flirting for about 6 emails, although I sensed that something was building on her part. The 7th and 8th emails were flowery, emotional love letters, stating how much she loved me and how she wanted to come to me so we could be together. This immediately set off some alarm bells, because although a woman might start thinking something like that, I can't imagine any woman saying it in so short a time unless she has bad intentions. The 9th letter outlined her plan to get a tourist visa and asked me to help her by paying $410. She seemed to know quite a bit about the visa process and sending money by Western Union. When I replied that I didn't think she could get a tourist visa and I was worried that some agencies will take her money and I was willing to come to Russia to see her, she wrote back that this was silly, it was too expensive for me, and she was going to get the visa herself without any agencies. I researched this a little and found out that it would be nearly impossible for her to get a visa. That's when I realized this was a scam and started googling parts of her letters. The phrase "I'm fine and affairs on work go perfectly" yielded a hit to your site and Olesya Aktanaeva. In fact, both women's emails are coming from the same computer (195.69.60.6). In all letters except one, the internet provider was a satellite system, but one email was sent through a dial up connection and the header showed it originated in Yoshkar-Ola in the Republic of Mari El. The X-mailer on all letters was "The Bat!". It is now clear she has a cache of pre written letters and cuts and pastes as she feels necessary. I have not reported this to the authorities, but if I can save another guy some emotional and financial distress, then I feel my effort here was worth it. The main thing that ultimately gave her away and really started me digging was she sent me an email Christmas Eve wishing me a happy holiday. She didn't have a computer at home and used the one from work. She stated that, since it was Saturday and she didn't work, she had been searching the city for an open internet cafe, and after a long search, finally found one just before closing. I checked the email header and it was identical to every other header in previous email: 195.69.60.6.
