REPORTING A SCAMMER

All reports much have supporting documentation (scammer's letters &  pictures). Please keep them! Do not delete scammer's letters and pictures from your computer until we published your report. 

Since I no longer can attend to the black list, you will have to publish the report yourself by uploading the scammer's info, pictures, and letters on the forum. 

Here how you do it:

• Make sure that you are trying to upload a report on a scammer, not a suspected scammer. Suspected scammer are reported differently. If you are sure, then proceed.

• Go http://www.romancescam.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=6

• Click Register link on the top of the screen.

• Create a login and password. Write down both!!!

• Login into the forum http://www.romancescam.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=6

• Go to the subforum RUSSIAN SCAMMERS

• Browse the entries on the forum for about 20-30 minutes to see how the reports look like. Note the information that other posters are providing about their scammers.

• When you have a pretty good idea of how you want your report to look like, click the "New Topic" button

• In the subject line, type in scammer's name and city where she is from.

• In the message body, type in the following: her full name, her address, her email address, her date of birth (or age), how she contacted you, how much money she is asking for, have you sent her any money, and also if you know her under any other names (her alias).

• If you can, upload the pictures or post links to her pictures (if you can't, don't worry about it). Attention: ONLY .jpg files are acceptable.

• Post all the letters you received from her. We recommend that  you can delete your name and your email address out of the letters (spammers can find your posting and start sending spam to you!).

• Click "Preview" to make sure your report looks like you want it to look

• Click 'Submit" button to upload your report onto the forum.

• With any questions about posting and uploading, please feel free to send me a message: elena@russian-detective.com (DO NOT SEND YOUR REPORT TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS! I will delete all reports that arrive there. I really do not like when people do not follow my instructions!)

Additional suggestions:

• when creating your login and password, write them down

• if you already see girl reported on our black list, upload your report anyway. The more reports the better.

• if you can, locate other scammers who used the same pictures in the past and provide their names or links to their reports on the web.

• you can use a Send a Private Message button on the forum to send me a private message if you wish, but please do it only when absolutely necessary, my mailbox there is not very big. Please note:

• I reserve the right to move your report to Suspected Scammers section if I feel that there is not enough evidence of criminal intent on the girl's part.

• Do not upload .bmp files, I will delete them, they take too long to load.
